This is the best place to eat right in the centre of Ljubljana. Serves a delicious array of dishes, including fish, meat and vegetarian. The pizzas are to die for, and I also recommend the roast veal with mashed potato and onion.

Superb restaurant located in the little village of Naklo, just north of Kranj. This places serves one of the best pizzas I've ever had in Slovenia, along with a selection of other mouth watering dishes. Portions are very large, so you won't go hungry.

A great choice just across the border from Italy. When you first enter Slovenia after a long drive and want a bite to eat, then this little restaurant just on the outskirts of town is a good choice.
